2018 Queen’s Award for Innovation

We are delighted to announce that tlmNEXUS has been recognised with a Queen’s Award for Innovation for the development of our Resolve software program.

The Queen announced the award as part of her birthday celebrations on April 21, 2018, and we are honoured to have received this Royal recognition for our work.

Resolve links information which supports safety and sustained effectiveness for the majority of aircraft types operated by the military.

Building on this success tlmNEXUS plans to expand into associated sectors requiring Resolve’s Issue Management capability for other long-term, complex projects.  As well as Resolve, the company has developed valuable software foundations which similarly link all collaborators involved in other aspects of long-term projects: Requirements Management, Budgeting and Investment Appraisals and Operational Quality Feedback.

You can read more about Resolve here, and get in touch if you think it might be a system that could work for your organisation.

Use of New Technology & Techniques to Address Aircraft Ageing Issues

The requirement to monitor the condition of aircraft as they age and the risks associated with the aging process currently involves an audit comprising of trend data, procedures and an inspection of the condition of sample aircraft and aircraft systems.  With the evolution of electronic airworthiness issue management, integrity management and the ability to overlay real-time information from a variety of asset management sources to provide a single source of knowledge,  has the time come for real-time and continuous ageing aircraft monitoring presented to the appropriate authority via a ‘knowledge dashboard ‘ to be considered a serious alternative to periodic audits?
