Sponsorship

We sponsor causes, many of which are relevant to our work, including:

• Funding an annual Engineering Education scholarship through the Arkwright Trust. Each year, a student receives financial support from us through the Trust, as well as mentoring conversations and accompanying us on some customer visits
• GB Bobsleigh Team, captained by pilot, John Stanbridge, an RAF engineer
• RAF Sailing Championships
• RAFGA Ladies' Team
• RAF Waddington Vulcan's Karting
• Yeovil rugby club age grade players



Environment

• Approximately half our team work from their homes around the country
• We encourage cycling to work
• We recycle general waste including cardboard, plastic, paper etc.
• We recycle IT equipment
• We have joined the Love Electric electric car scheme

Community Engagement

• We give educational support to local students
• We support local sports teams
• We use local, smaller companies as suppliers where possible
• We support our employees who engage in civic duties such as serving as a magistrate

Best practice and voluntary industry support

Balancing both transparency and confidentiality, we work with industry and government trade bodies to deliver the best working practices available.

We hold Voluntary Membership of Industry Working Groups and Committees including:
