Turning maintenance data into operational insight with tlmNexus DaRT
tlmNexus’ DaRT is designed to address an important gap in repair processes by converting fragmented information into structured, analysable intelligence.
Within UK military platforms, large volumes of defect and repair data are captured every day, and is often distributed across local repair logs and standalone records, limiting its value beyond immediate maintenance activity.
For organisations responsible for air, road and seaworthiness, fleet performance and long-term decisions, the challenge is not data availability but data exploitation.
tlmNexus’ DaRT is designed to address this gap by converting fragmented repair information into structured, analysable intelligence.
Addressing a systemic visibility issue
Repair records are usually created in order to close individual tasks rather than to support wider analysis. As a result, recurring faults, emerging trends and systemic weaknesses will remain obscured until they manifest as availability or safety concerns.
DaRT aggregates defect and repairdata across platforms, units and time periods, so that a consistent dataset can be interrogated to inform engineering and support decisions.
This enables teams to identify recurring issues early, and to improve their understanding of failure drivers. This gives them more robust evidence with which to take corrective action.
Capability aligned to defence engineering environments
DaRT is a secure, web-based SaaS developed specifically for regulated, safety-critical aviation environments and capable of adaptation for land and sea. It is designed to support traceability, auditability, and data integrity requirements associated with military airworthiness and continuing airworthiness management.
Key outcomes include:
- improved visibility of repair trends and fault recurrence.
- strengthened evidence for engineering change and support decisions.
- enhanced feedback between maintenance, design, and support organisations.
- more effective use of existing maintenance data.
DaRT supports a shift from reactive review of repair activity to proactive analysis of fleet-level behaviour.
Part of a proven tlmNexus ecosystem
DaRT is developed by tlmNexus, whose Resolve SaaS platform is already in use across more than 34 MOD aircraft platforms. This shared heritage ensures alignment with established defence engineering workflows and operational constraints.
For organisations already using tlmNexus software, DaRT represents an extension of existing digital capability rather than a standalone analytics tool.
Streamlined access via NexusHub
To support adoption and reduce integration overhead, DaRT will be available, along with other mission-critical tlmNexus applications, through the new NexusHub portal, scheduled for release in early 2026.
NexusHub will provide a consolidated access point for tlmNexus SaaS tools, simplifying deployment and enabling organisations to adopt DaRT alongside existing tools with minimal disruption.
Supporting earlier and better decisions
DaRT enables stakeholders to move beyond isolated repair records towards a consolidated, evidence-based view of maintenance performance.
By improving the visibility of recurring issues and repair trends, DaRT supports more timely, informed decisions that contribute to fleet availability, safety, and long-term supportability.
In environments where operational readiness and assurance are critical, turning maintenance data into usable intelligence is no longer optional. DaRT provides the capability to do so, using data that organisations already hold.
