Sponsorship, Professional and Community impacts at tlmNexus
At tlmNexus, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is not a box-ticking exercise. Here's how we make a difference.
Through focused sponsorship and community engagement, tlmNexus contributes to stronger professional ecosystems, safer practices, and more resilient communities, reinforcing our wider environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments and long‑term responsibility as a defence‑aligned strategic technology partner.
At tlmNexus, sponsorship and community engagement are purposeful, values‑led activities that support the people, professions, and communities connected to our work. We focus on initiatives that promote teamwork, safety, professional development, and long‑term capability across defence, industry, team and individual activities.
We sponsor and support a range of defence‑aligned and digital‑focused events that encourage collaboration and best practice. In particular, through our membership of the Team Defence Information (TD-info) trade association, we support the annual Digital Engineering and Digital Information events, promoting model‑based engineering, data‑driven decision‑making, and trusted information sharing in safety‑critical environments.
We also provide support for STEM activities to a local school and local air cadet squadrons and we fund a student each year as part of the annual Arkwright Engineering Scholarship.
These engagements reflect our commitment to responsible digital practice and collective personal and professional development.
Our support goes beyond engineering and software. As part of our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant, we sponsor service‑related sporting initiatives that embody teamwork, resilience, and competitive performance under pressure, including the RAF Bobsleigh, Luge and Skeleton Association and the RAF Ladies Golf elite team as well as RAF dinghy sailing and an RAF Station’s karting team.
Promoting alignment with tlmNexus values and our ethical and reputational integrity, we empower each of our employees to take up to five paid days each year participating in employee‑led volunteering and civic activities that benefit local communities.
At tlmNexus, ESG is not a box-ticking exercise. We are determined to make a difference to people, professions and communities through activities that have a clear purpose and a positive impact.
