Tool overview: what is the Engineering Support Demand Management tool?
A task management system enabling support staff to raise technical and engineering tasks, gain budget approval and place a task and track progress directly with their suppliers.
Originally developed in conjunction with DE&S where complex equipment are maintained and supported by a wide ranging customer base including: military, industry and partner nations, who all need access to a central repository for technical and engineering tasks.
ESDM is used by the Typhoon project community to create process and manage demands for technical and engineering tasks, including equipment, manpower & technical queries, in support of the Typhoon Availability Service contract.
