e-Library Version 2 with major usability and publishing enhancements

tlmNexus is pleased to announce the release of e‑Library Version 2, the next generation of our secure digital document management and publishing platform optimised for defence and highly regulated environments.

This new version introduces substantial enhancements, delivering greater flexibility, usability and control for military, technical and support organisations.

What is e‑Library?

e‑Library is a secure, web‑enabled solution designed to allow users to publish, version manage and distribute fully traceable documents and data across defence networks. The tool supports compliance with MOD network standards and enables rapid publication of approved content, reducing the time from hours or days, to just minutes.

It is used to support multiple viewer groups such as airworthiness authorities, maintenance organisations and partner agencies with controlled access to the latest authoritative data.

What’s new in v2?

Version 2 introduces several key improvements designed to simplify workflows, improve flexibility, and enhance user control:

  • Multi-platform support - e‑Library is now configurable to support multiple domains or organisations in a single deployment, with data logically separated by Delivery Team (DT).
  • Streamlined interface - A simplified single list view of all publications improves navigation and user experience.
  • Improved permissions management - Access controls are now easier to configure and administer across user groups.
  • Configurable publishing forms - Users can now publish directly from a record using customisable forms within the system.
  • Manual control of versioning and cancellations - Publication updates, up-versioning, and cancellations can now be triggered directly from the integrated publishing module (e.g. Resolve, Derive).

These enhancements deliver faster publishing cycles, better usability, and greater operational flexibility, whilst maintaining the traceability, security, and control that e‑Library is known for.
